Wavestream Bilge Water Filtration System
Bilge water invariably contains oil, which if not properly separated will be dumped into the seas and rivers of the world through the bilge pump. Legislation to prevent this operates in most parts of the world, and is being progressively tightened. Discharge of oily bilge water is strictly controlled. In some areas the limit is zero and in others it is 5 or 15 parts per million if these are exceeded there are significant fines. Wavestream removes all traces of oil to less than 1 part per million – it is up to us all to protect our marine environment.
