Siphon Breakers
The siphon breaker plays a crucial role in a marine exhaust system, preventing the cooling water backing up into the engine when this is low in the hull. The Halyard unit is cast from bronze, and incorporates a tapping point for some cooling water to be drawn off to feed the stern tube bearings.
 

Hose Clamps

Hot Lag Insulation
Hot lag insulation is designed to wrap hot pipes with a thermal insulator which is asbestos free, with a range of special clamps to hold it firmly and permanently in place.

Transom Exhaust Outlet
Halyard's Exhaust Through Hull Fitting is designed to be infinitely stronger than the plastic and GRP units on the market – and tougher than most stainless units.
It's made of 3mm thick 316 stainless to ensure that the risks of damage when manoeuvring a craft are reduced to the absolute minimum. All units are designed so that the flap, at rest, is shrouded by the stainless rim to prevent damage if the vessel nudges a harbour wall.
 

Exhaust Risers
Effective cooling patterns in water injection elbows is an art. They must work at full power but still be effective at low revs when the water pump output is reduced.
